Find out how upcoming maintenance affects your ScreenCloud Service on June 8th 2025.

Updated over 2 weeks ago

This article provides details about upcoming scheduled maintenance that will temporarily prevent certain updates to Screens but will not result in service downtime.

Maintenance overview

We will be performing scheduled maintenance on ScreenCloud's Screen Service. This essential work will help us improve overall performance and reliability for screens.

Date and time of maintenance

GMT (UTC+0):

  • Date: Sunday, June 8th, 2025

  • Time: 2:00 AM - 3:00 AM GMT

EDT (UTC-4):

  • Date: Saturday, June 7th, 2025

  • Time: 10:00 PM - 11:00 PM EDT

Expected Duration: 1 hour

Impact on service

  • Screens will continue to display and play scheduled content as normal

  • Studio will remain operational except an action that required communication to the Screen service e.g. pairing/unpairing screens

  • Most screen-related operations will be temporarily unavailable, including:

    • Pairing or unpairing screens

    • Updating screen details (e.g. name, orientation)

    • Retrieving screen status or screenshots

    • Deleting screens

    • Generating or using pairing codes

  • Setting content to screens from the Studio will still be operational.

Recommended actions

  • Plan screen management ahead: If you anticipate needing to perform any of the above operations (besides changing what is playing on screen), please ensure these are completed before the maintenance window begins.

  • No action needed for content display and updates: No action is required if you only plan to have your screens display it's scheduled content. This will continue to operate as normal, and you will still be able to assign or update content to your already paired screens from the Studio during the maintenance.

We aim to complete this maintenance as quickly as possible and appreciate your understanding as we work to enhance our service. If you have any questions or require further clarification regarding this maintenance, please contact our support team.
