Google & Outlook Calendar: Can't Select or View Any Calendars (Permissions)

Fix calendar selection/viewing issues in Google or Outlook Calendar apps for ScreenCloud, often due to admin permissions in account settings

Google Calendar permissions

If you're having trouble selecting or having access to any of the calendars you'd like to connect with our Google Calendar app, we recommend checking with the administrator for the Google account. It is common in this case that your account does not have full administrative permissions to connect the calendar(s) with third-party websites, requiring that you are given administrative privileges for the Google calendar you'd like to use.

Please note, if you log into your Google account and are able to edit or add events to a calendar, it's customary if the calendar is managed by a business, office, or enterprise that there are still restrictions to your usability. Outlook/Office 365Calendar permissions

If you're having trouble selecting or having access to any of the calendars you'd like to connect with our Outlook Calendar app, we recommend checking with the administrator for the Outlook/Office 365 account. It is common in this case that your account does not have full delegate permissions to connect the calendar(s) with third-party websites, requiring that you are given "Editor" and "Delegate" privileges for the Outlook calendar you'd like to use.

Please note, if you log into your Outlook/Office 365 account and are able to edit or add events to a calendar, it's customary if the calendar is managed by a business, office, or enterprise that there are still restrictions to your usability. To learn more, please click here to view a support article from Outlook on permissions for sharing and editing calendars.
