If you discover that ScreenCloud is not accessible to your ScreenCloud OS device, you will need the help of VPN to connect with our services. VPN (Virtual private network) allows you to go beyond the geo-restrictions and to access websites and online services that may not be accessible in your geographical location.
When it comes to setting up ScreenCloud OS devices, you will need to set VPN on your router, as our devices do not currently support VPN natively.
Additionally, The ScreenCloud OS device must be made aware of the proper routing either via a default gateway (DHCP/Static address) or via network specific routes (DHCP).
We do not have recommendations for specific VPN services to use with ScreenCloud and SCOS, and so we advise that you conduct your own research to find out which VPN provider is the best solution within your region. Articles such as The best VPN service from techradar may prove useful to you.
Please refer to Domains & Servers to Whitelist for Internet Service Providers or VPN While Using ScreenCloud to see what is required to connect with our services.
