If your organization uses an internal dashboard, such as one hosted behind a firewall, VPN, or limited to a local network, it is important to understand how ScreenCloud can access that content, especially when using the Dashboards feature in Studio.
Public accessibility is required for Dashboards
ScreenCloud’s Dashboards app uses a secure cloud browser to access your dashboard content. Because of this, the dashboard URL must be accessible via the public internet. If the content is only available on your local network through a HTTP URL it will not work with the Dashboards app.
However, if your dashboard site is a HTTPS URL that is restricted based on IP address or network rules, your IT team may be able to whitelist ScreenCloud's Dashboard rendering IP addresses to allow access.
Whitelist ScreenCloud IP addresses for Dashboard access
If your dashboard can be made available to specific IP addresses, your IT team can allow ScreenCloud’s servers by whitelisting the following IP addresses based on your region.
Dashboards from studio.eu.screencloud.com (EU)
34.242.195.87
52.211.24.90
63.34.216.119
Dashboards from studio.us.screencloud.com (US)
18.190.88.55
18.223.54.252
3.17.82.86
Displaying internal sites with the Links app
If your dashboard uses an HTTP URL that is only accessible within a local network, it may be possible to display it using Links in ScreenCloud Studio, but only under specific conditions:
You must be using the ScreenCloud player on a Windows or macOS device.
The paired screen must be connected to the same internal network as the dashboard source.
The dashboard must not be behind a login or require any form of additional authentication.
Please be aware that ScreenCloud does not provide support for this type of setup, as it relies entirely on your local network environment, something only your internal team can manage or adjust.
How to access the Dashboards feature
Don't see ScreenCloud Dashboards in your account? This feature can be added to your account with an upgrade to the Pro or Enterprise plan. Please reach out to ScreenCloud support or your account manager to get help with this.
