How to fix Dashboards Error: "No associated username"

This article provides information on how to resolve the error code "No associated username" when setting up ScreenCloud Dashboards

Updated over 4 weeks ago

Dashboards can sometimes identify a username field incorrectly.

If, after recording a login flow, the password step displays the error "No associated username", then the username part of the login flow has not been identified and you will see this error.

In the recorded steps, find the step that enters the username or email address and click on it. You will open on to the settings for this step.

Open the Type dropdown and change the type from Text to Username. Then save the step configuration. It is required that another step is labeled as Password for this Username step to match with.

The error on the password field should now be removed, and you should be able to save your Dashboard.
