1. How to set up Your ScreenCloud OS device

1.1. First, unpack your Station P1 Pro and its accessories. Please note that you can also follow these steps if you have a Station P1.

Besides the Station P1 Pro device, you will find a Wi-Fi antenna, HDMI cable, 12V-2A (US plug) power adapter, and a 2mm L-shaped Allen wrench.

1.2. The Station P1 Pro supports both wireless and wired connections. If you want to connect your device to a Wi-Fi network, attach the included Wi-Fi antenna.

1.3. Next, connect your Station P1 Pro to a display of your choosing. You have the option of using either the HDMI port at the back of the device or the DisplayPort over USB-C port at the front of the device.

Or connect the USB-C end of a USB-C to DisplayPort cable (not included) to the USB-C port on the front of your Station P1 Pro, and the DisplayPort end of the cable to the DisplayPort port on your TV or display.

Please note that the Station P1 Pro device currently only supports 1 display at up to 4K resolution at a time.

We have included an HDMI cable in the box for your convenience, but if you need to use a different one, make sure to only connect the ScreenCloud OS device to your display using a standard or high-speed HDMI cable.

Do not use a standard or high-speed HDMI cable with Ethernet (LAN), as it can cause issues in the event of power cycle. For more information on which are the best HDMI cables to use with your ScreenCloud OS device.

1.4. Next, power on your Station P1 Pro using the included 12V-2A (US plug) power adapter and select the channel that matches the input on your Station P1 Pro device.

Please note if you want to plug the 12V-2A (US plug) power adapter into a power source that does not have a US plug, you will need a power plug adapter (not included).

2. How to Provision Your ScreenCloud OS Device Via Ethernet (LAN) connection

There are two ways to provision your ScreenCloud OS device. Either via an Ethernet (LAN) connection or via a USB provisioning flash drive. To set up a wireless or advanced network set up, you have to create a provisioning USB flash drive, to learn how to do this follow along in this article here.

For a quicker set up you can simply connect an automatic DHCP Ethernet (LAN) cable. To learn how to do that follow along with the steps below.

2.1. If you want to connect your device to a wired network, connect your Ethernet (LAN) cable to the port at the back of your device and power on your Station P1 Pro.

When your ScreenCloud OS device receives the network settings via your DHCP Ethernet (LAN) cable, it will display your network settings and apply them to the device in 30 seconds. To cancel the configuration process, turn off your device or insert a provisioning USB flash drive like so:

Once the pairing code appears you will be ready to already start pairing your new screen to your ScreenCloud account

2.2. In the event that you want to switch to a wireless network type, you may do so by removing the Ethernet (LAN) cable. The ScreenCloud OS device will automatically detect and connect to the network. This is only the case if you have already configured your Wi-Fi network settings via a provisioning USB flash drive. If not, then you must create a USB provisioning flash drive and insert it into your device.

If you would like to set up your ScreenCloud OS device with a more advanced setup, follow along in the steps below.

3. How to set up an advanced network for your ScreenCloud OS device

To set up a more advanced network set up, you have to create a provisioning USB flash drive. This USB flash drive will help connect the ScreenCloud OS device to your network. You can use this USB flash drive to provision as many ScreenCloud OS devices as you like, as long as they are on the same type of connection on the same network. Simply insert the USB flash drive and voila, your device is set up.
