Restarting the ScreenCloud player app on your device or rebooting the device itself can often help when you are experiencing issues. Restarting the player app helps load your content from the start, while rebooting your device helps clear your device’s memory.
How to use the Restart Player feature
To restart the ScreenCloud player app on your device, go to the Screens section in Studio and select a screen.
You will see the Restart Player on the right, where all your screen information is contained.
Next, in the pop-up window that appears, select Restart Player to initiate the restart.
You will then see a notice in the bottom right indicating that the ScreenCloud player app on your device has been restarted, or if the action did not push through.
How to use the Reboot Device feature
To reboot your device, go to the Screens section in Studio and select a screen.
You will see the Reboot Player button on the right, where all your screen information laid out.
Next, in the pop-up window that appears, select Reboot Device to initiate the reboot.
You will then see a notice in the bottom right indicating that a reboot of your device has been initiated, or if it has failed.
