Why is the new screen I just paired showing N/A and NaN under it's Memory and Storage screen details in Studio?
If your newly paired screen is showing N/A and NaN details for its screen information, but is still coming up as LIVE and showing content normally, this means the screen's connection is not complete. This could be due to a weak internet connection when the pairing was made, the network blocking some of ScreenCloud's services, or issues with the hardware. When you observe this issue, you might notice that content isn't playing perfectly on screen, the screen is black, or that certain RDM tool features are not working or missing.
Please follow the steps below, one by one, until the screen details, especially Memory and Storage, are showing correctly.
Perform Clear Cache multiple times to see if this displays the information correctly.
Unpair and pair the screen again.
Check the internet strength of the device and make sure that it has a good connection - Then, unpair and pair the screen again
Check if your network is blocking ScreenCloud: Domains & Serves to Whitelist for ScreenCloud.
Perform a factory reset and update the device to it's latest OS version. Set up the ScreenCloud player on it and pair your screen.
The end result is to show values like this under Storage and Memory, although the orange bars would be at a much lesser value if a screen was just paired. The value will depend on the device's specs.
If the steps above do not resolve the issue and cause the device to show clear screen information details, reach out to ScreenCloud support.
