Desktop Player v3.12.0 (Canary Release)

Starting September 8, 2025, we’re releasing Desktop Player v3.12.0 to the Canary channel. This version includes:

  • Mute support: A much-requested feature to give you more control over your player’s audio.

When will I get it?

  • If you’re on the Canary channel, you’ll see this update first.

  • A phased rollout to all customers is planned for September 16, 2025, dependant on successful testing.

How to enable Canary on your devices

  1. Go to Studio → Screens Manager

  2. Click on the relevant device

  3. Navigate to Settings → Player Update

  4. Select Canary

Fixes & Improvements in Desktop Player v3.11.7 (Stable Release)

We have rolled out Desktop Player v3.11.7 to all customers on the Stable channel, with the following fixes and improvements:

  • No more unwanted daily restarts if you’ve already scheduled your restart time.

  • Mouse cursor stays hidden when the player restarts or loads.

  • Fullscreen option remembered on startup and restart.

  • Better cache clearing: Now clears all browser data except the JS-player layer.

  • Improved startup behaviour when launching on login.

This update began rolling out on September 2, 2025 and will reach all devices by September 4, 2025.
