Touch and interactive compatible devices
ScreenCloud Touch is supported on the following devices and operating systems:
PIXI (Version 1.5.10 and above)
ScreenCloud OS (SCOS) — specifically the Station P1 Pro, with a connected touchscreen or interactive display
Amazon Fire OS (Fire tablets)
Android (tablets)
iOS
macOS (with a touchscreen monitor or display)
Windows (with a touchscreen monitor or display)
There is also a browser-based option: the ScreenCloud web player works via Google Chrome on any touch-compatible device, with no native player OS restriction.
Troubleshooting Touch and Interactive mode
If the Touch play button isn’t responding but other controls, like swipe gestures, still work, the cause is usually the channel’s layout.
Touch only works on channels with a single zone layout. If the channel uses a layout with two or more zones, the play button won’t respond.
Check your settings first
On the player, make sure Interactive Mode (labelled UI Interaction on some players) is turned on in the settings menu.
In your ScreenCloud account, go to Screens and it's Settings make sure Touch is enabled for that screen.
Fix the channel layout
In Studio, open the channel and check its layout.
If it has more than one zone, change it to a single zone layout.
Clear the device cache in Studio so the player loads the updated layout.
Wait for the player to reload fully, then test the play button.
If the play button still doesn’t work, contact ScreenCloud support.
