Which Devices and Operating Systems Can I Use with ScreenCloud and What Are the Minimum Requirements?

This covers the minimum OS requirements for ScreenCloud, with links to detailed lists of supported, recommended, and unsupported devices.

Updated this week

If you have any questions about the operating system and hardware requirements before purchasing a device, please feel free to reach out to the ScreenCloud support team. Please note, if you're using a device we don't officially support or don't meet the minimum requirements for the operating system then the ScreenCloud app may experience performance issues or be unavailable to use. To review devices that are not supported by ScreenCloud, please click here.

For more in-depth recommendations of supported hardware, please visit our hardware page here.

The best resource related to this would be our minimum hardware requirements here, where you could just create a filter for everything that doesn't meet our minimum requirements and create a list of devices based on that(Please note that I think our minimum requirements need to be updated a bit to match what I note below)So for example:

Amazon Hardware

Amazon’s Fire TV streaming media devices, Fire tablets, and Fire TV smart TVs / smart TVs with Fire TV built-in run on Amazon's Fire OS operating system, which is based on Android. But as Amazon has a very specific list of devices that we have thoroughly tested, we have not set a list of minimum requirements, instead listing exactly which devices we do and do not recommend or support (see below).

Amazon hardware that is unsupported is listed here under Not supported, along with additional Amazon hardware information.
