Adding a screen
Visit the app store on the device you have connected to your television and search for ScreenCloud. Select this app and download it to your device that is connected to your television/display.
Once the ScreenCloud app has loaded on your device, you'll see a pairing code on your screen that displays. When you have this, open https://screencloud.com on your laptop or PC and sign up for a ScreenCloud account (if you haven't already).
If you have a smartphone, you can also scan the QR code to pair the screen to your account. This will prompt you to log in to your ScreenCloud Studio account (or prompt you to create a brand new account) on your phone's default internet browser and automatically input the pairing code for you.
Once you’ve signed up, you can choose Add first screen by visiting https://studio.screencloud.com/screens. Enter your pairing code from the previous step and that’s it! You can now run content to the device you've paired and control the content from any location in the world.
If it is your first time signing into the subscription you will be greeted with three help suggestions above the Add first screen button.
If you select Still looking for a device? you can begin exploring options for ways to pair a device. If you don't have hardware at the moment, you can select Web player, just to understand how our service works.
Once you have a 6-character pairing code, you can continue to connect this with your ScreenCloud account. If you need to forcibly generate a new pairing code (e.g., for troubleshooting or re-pairing purposes), reinstalling the ScreenCloud Player may trigger a new pairing code. This step can help resolve pairing issues but should be considered a troubleshooting measure.

User permissions
To pair a screen in ScreenCloud, you must have administrative permissions. Users with roles such as Content Manager do not have access to complete the pairing process. Before pairing, confirm that your account has the required admin-level rights.
Compatible firmware or hardware
Pairing requires the ScreenCloud Player to be installed on the device connected to your display. ScreenCloud hardware typically includes the Player preinstalled, but for other devices, ensure the correct version is installed and compatible with your operating system or device model. Refer to this article to check you have compatible hardware.
Network Connectivity
If you are on a secure or restricted network, ScreenCloud must be allowed to connect to its required services. Otherwise, you may see a black screen with the player or the pairing code may fail to load. For a full list of domains and ports to allow, refer to the ScreenCloud Whitelisting Guide.
Deleting or deactivating a screen
Visit the Screens section of your account and click on the three horizontal dots for the settings drop-down menu for your screen.
Select Delete and you’ll be prompted to delete the screen from your account.
You'll be prompted with an option to either deactivate your screens temporarily or delete them fully to remove your licenses.
Deactivating allows you to store the screen data until a later date while deleting a screen permanently deletes the screen data from your account.
If you're opting to delete your screens, you can also provide us feedback as to why you're looking to no longer use the service.
