How To Start Using ScreenCloud Without a Physical Screen or TV

Learn how to test and setup ScreenCloud on your desktop or phone before buying the product or hardware.

1. Connect your Windows OS desktop or PC

You can use the ScreenCloud Windows OS Player to connect your Windows desktop or PC.

1.1. Download the ScreenCloud Windows OS app to your device from https://screencloud.com/download.

1.2. Once the app is open, you will see a unique pairing code that you can use to connect your device by clicking "New Screen" in your account. You can also click here to view the ScreenCloud Windows OS setup guide.

1.3. You can start using multiple features to set up your content. To learn ways to set content on your screens, click here for more information.


2. Connect your macOS desktop or PC

You can use the ScreenCloud macOS Player to connect your Apple macOS desktop or PC.

2.1. Download the ScreenCloud macOS app to your device from https://screencloud.com/download.

2.2. Once the app is open, you will see a unique pairing code that you can use to connect your device by clicking "New Screen" in your account. You can also click here to view the ScreenCloud macOS setup guide.

2.3. You can start using multiple features to set up your content. To learn ways to set content on your screens, click here for more information.


3. Use your iOS or Android smartphone

You can use your smartphone or mobile device to display the ScreenCloud Player App on Apple iOS or Android devices.

3.1. You can either download the ScreenCloud Player app onto your iOS device from the Apple App Store or use your Android device to download the app from the Google Play Store.

3.2. Once the app is open, you will see a unique pairing code that you can use to connect your device by clicking "New Screen" in your account.

4. Digital signage at your fingertips with mobile support

You can use ScreenCloud on the go right from your smartphone or mobile device. With your mobile device, you can manage your screens, upload content, create or schedule channels, and more. This is useful if you're looking to make changes on your digital screens or manage your account en route. Please note, we recommend you use a Google Chrome or Mozilla Firefox browser from your mobile device when logging into https://studio.screencloud.com. This will provide the most optimized and seamless browsing experience while using ScreenCloud's digital signage platform.


5. Use a Google Chrome Web Browser as a Digital Signage Player

You can connect a screen using your Google Chrome Web Browser which acts as a digital signage player. Using your web browser, you can visit http://player.screen.cloud/browser/index.html which will provide your web browser with a pairing code. You can connect the web browser to your ScreenCloud account. For long-term use, it is recommended to use the ScreenCloud Digital Signage App using a method provided at https://screencloud.com/hardware though you can use this option.
