Knowing your device’s operating system version helps with troubleshooting and compatibility checks. Find your device type below.
ScreenCloud PIXI
Press the OK or menu (≡) button on the PIXI remote to open the ScreenCloud side menu.
Select More Settings.
Select Device Information.
Your OS version is listed under OS.
ScreenCloud OS (SCOS)
There are two ways to check the SCOS version on your device.
On startup
Restart your device, and the SCOS version is displayed on screen during startup.
Via the side menu
Attach a mouse to your device and click the Settings icon in the top-right corner of the player to open the side menu. The OS version is shown there.
Amazon Fire TV devices
Press the Home button on your Amazon remote.
Navigate to Settings in the top menu.
Scroll right and select Device.
Select About to view the operating system information.
Android TV and box devices
Steps can vary between Android TV and box models. If you can’t locate the OS information using the steps below, check the manual or support pages for your specific device. Note: if your TV is a non-smart display powered by a media dongle (such as an Amazon Fire TV Stick), check the dongle’s OS rather than the TV itself.
Navigate to Settings on your device.
Select System.
Select About device. The OS version is listed under Android version.
Android smartphones and tablets
Open Settings.
Select System.
Select About phone or About device. The OS version is listed under Android version.
ChromeOS devices
Select the time in the bottom-right corner of your screen.
Select Settings (cog icon).
Open the menu (☰) and select About Chrome OS.
Your version is shown under Google Chrome OS.

iOS and iPadOS
Go to Settings > General > About. Your iOS version is listed there.

LG webOS Signage
With the ScreenCloud player running, press S.MENU on the LG remote to open the player side menu.
Your OS version is listed under webOS version.

macOS
Click the Apple menu in the top-left corner of your screen and select About This Mac. The macOS name and version are shown at the top. Click the version number to also reveal the build number.

Samsung Tizen
Display menu
This is the most straightforward method and works across Tizen 4, 6.5, and 7.0.
Press the Menu button on your remote control.
Navigate to Support.
Select Contact Samsung (for a detailed breakdown) or Software Update (to see the current firmware version).
Note the Software Version displayed (e.g.
T-VAL9DFUC-2013.0).
Note: The Software Version shown here is the firmware build number, not the Tizen OS version number (e.g. "Tizen 7.0"). See Method 3 below to match this to your Tizen version.
Home button (Tizen 6.5 and 7.0)
Press the Home button on your remote.
Select System.
Navigate down to find the system information, which may display the OS or software version.

Windows
Press Windows key + R, type winver, and select OK to quickly view your Windows version.
Or follow these steps:
Go to Start > Settings > System > About.
Under Device specifications, check whether you’re running a 32-bit or 64-bit version.
Under Windows specifications, check the edition and version.
