Troubleshooting
These troubleshooting steps can help resolve issues with your ChromeOS device or display. We recommend that you try these steps before reaching out to support, to see if this might resolve your issue.
Visit the ScreenCloud app on your Chrome device.
Using your wireless keyboard, right-click and navigate to the Settings option and click this button.
From the right-hand menu, click Advanced Settings.
Select the Clear Cache button available here for the app.
Check if the issues for ChromeOS device is mentioned here.
Check and confirm that the power adapter of the device us not the issue.
Check if the device is warm or hot to the touch - Place it in an area with better airflow.
Check the devices internet connection to ensure it is strong enough - See here.
Reset ChromeOS settings and remove and set back the ScreenCloud player - See here.
Remove any unnecessary apps that might be installed or playing on the device
Perform a Factory Reset and re-install and re-apply the ScreenCloud player app in Google admin - See here.
If the device is still faulty, it may be time to replace it with a newer model.
